Studio Practice

Monolithic form and structural joinery.

Constructing objects that negotiate the quiet space between architectural volume and daily ritual, prioritizing material honesty above all else.

Discipline

Refusing decorative excess through structural truth.

Every commission emerges from a rigorous dialogue between spatial context and raw timber properties. We source regional hardwoods, allowing air-dried planks to settle naturally before fabrication begins in our Copenhagen and London workshops.

Joinery is articulated without decorative explanation. Mortise, tenon, and keyed mitres carry the structural load, turning the assembly method into the primary aesthetic signature of each piece.

Ethics

Objects engineered for structural longevity and absolute repairability.

From architectural brief to final placement.

Installation

Reviewing scale, light vectors, and spatial rhythm with the architect or private commissioner.

Hand-selecting regional hardwood stocks for grain continuity, tone, and structural stability.

Fabricating full-scale joinery prototypes to test physical weight, friction, and tactile finish.

White-glove delivery and precise spatial placement in collaboration with project teams.
